There's a wind that hails from forceful gales, its power uncontested. In the time it blows preparedness flows, its target unmolested. And the hull is sound as it sits aground, beyond nature's mighty grip. But the wind that hails from forceful gales, longs to sink its ship.
I love that when I read your poetry, I have to think as well!! 🙂 This is amazing 🙂 Thank you for the lyrical exercise for my mind 😀

It is a beautiful poem.
The forceful gale prepares and does not molest its target the sea that flows . Nor the Hull that stays on the ground held tightly by nature…..but the man made ship is vulnerable….to natural forces …sadly true. This tempest should not arise in human hearts , if it does , it will wreck the ship . Forceful Gale….is such a non pejorative term , but the metaphor does the job of indicating a wreck so subtly.
Well done !

Feel free to give me some helpful guidance. If you see a mistake on any of my stories, let me know and I will fix it. I write my stories in about an hour, so I only reread them twice. The only fresh eyes are from the readers.

On the Atlantic Ocean, a place called Newfoundland, Canada. It has a long and storied history of seafaring adventure, shipwrecks, and tragedy. Your poem speaks the truth.
